Vrindavan is undoubtedly one of the most sacred Hindu destinations, where beliefs of the people still stand strong that makes the place a religious charm. The sacred city of Mathura is situated in the northern part of India and is known as the birthplace of Lord Krishna, according to the Hindu belief. The renowned Hindu temple, Sri Krishna Janma Bhoomi, is located at the very site where Lord Krishna is said to have been born. Vrindavan is a significant part of the “Krishna pilgrimage circuit” which also includes Mathura, Barsana, Gokul, Govardhan, Kurukshetra, Dwarka and Puri. The common salutation or greetings used in Braj region by its residents is Radhe Radhe which is associated with the Goddess Radha or Hare Krishna which is associated with Krishna. Devotees of Krishna believe that he visits the town each night to adore Radha.
